John Paul Caponigro, in an eBook on Antarctica co-written and co-photographed with Seth Resnick, talks about the influence they had on each other as they photographed Antarctica: "I recommend you seek out opportunities to walk with someone and photograph together. You’ll see a different way of looking at the world through another person’s eyes. You’ll be able to compare and contrast your visions. When you make images that are the same, you’ll learn that some results are driven by convention and circumstance."
It one of the wonders and benefits of traveling with other photographers - five people at one location with five different visions. A learning experience for all. And confirmation that we each have our own vision that we seek to embrace and convey in our photography.
